 big phone system features for small priceJul 19, 2003
i purchased 5 of these phones for my New Jersey office from my telephone wiring contractor CROWN TELECOM SERVICE (732) 681-3903 and they are a dream. they were up and running with a little programming.Easy to use, cheap, and have big system features like intercom, page, hold, LCD display, etc. Phone systems cost thousands of dollars for the same features. Don't fall for the big system hype. Have these installed and save yourself alot of money!

I reccommend the AT&T 944 4-line Intercom Speakerphone to anyone who wishes to purchase it. The phone has all the features of a big business system, but without the cost. I use it as a stand-alone unit, but I plan to eventually have one everywhere in my house. Yes, I do think that it is a great idea for people with a family in a house. The paging feature is my favorite. It is very easy to tell someone they have telephone call and it's fun to make announcements! I cannot think of any flaws with this corded phone, so I rated it 5 stars!

I purchased 4 of these phones for my small business. They are terrible. While everyone in technical support admits I have tried everything to get the phones to work they do not. I can talk on them but if I put a call on hold and pick it up at a different extension the customer can't hear us....we sound like a Mickey Mouse organization....Avoid these phones no matter how nice customer serivce is they can't help.

We bought this as an additional office phone. As far as call quality goes, it is good. The phone has has no caller ID, and we just didn't like the phone because of that. We ended up going to office Depot and buying a different phone because of the caller ID. We need it in our business, so if you can live without it, you'd probably like the phone.
