I got this socket set primarily because I needed some deep socket wrenches for my car. The fact that it also includes a spark plug socket and 3" and 6" 3/8 extensions were a bonus. The case is solid plastic and well-formed so the tools don't rattle around inside. This is a better socket set than two sets I bought from Home Depot.

I was looking for a decent set of sockets without breaking the bank after my old set was stolen. I do a fair amount of work around the house and on the cars, but I don't need anything that's too expensive. These crescent sockets fit the bill just fine. You get a lot of different size sockets, both SAE and Metric standard and deep well to fit most needs. They're 12 point sockets which are a bit cheaper to make tolerance wise and will work just fine for the majority of applications, just won't grip a stripped head since they put pressure on the corners of the nut. I would recommend these to homeowners and people with lighter socket needs.

I have owned Crescent tools for many years and they are still going strong. My first Crescent Socket Set. The set is well built and heavy duty. Can't go wrong buying anything made by Crescent.

I misplace tools a lot, it seems easier to buy replacement tools.
I was really impressed with the quality and added features.
Hard to find a brand name at a GREAT PRICE.
