Great "wow" factor, and excellent soundMay 03, 2012
By Gralfus The Heil Fin has an excellent retro look but with very modern guts, and the added cool-blue glow just about pegs my geek-meter. Even my preliminary recordings (without a mic stand) were rich and clear, and I'm really looking forward to performing with this.
The only snag I hit was that the super-heavy mic stand I ordered had an extra-wide support tube, so I wasn't able to connect the mic cord to the bottom of the Fin while it was on the stand since the threaded hole is so near the cord connection. I had to order a short mic extension tube. No big deal.
