 Thick, heavy and bigger than typical luggage locks.Dec 07, 2009

Some people might be looking for a typical luggage lock. This is fifty percent bigger and heavier than what I've seen with other luggage locks. Also, just in case you didn't notice, the TSA cannot open this lock.

As noted below the shackle is thicker than most luggage locks. This lock is ideal for lockers and GUN CASES in particular, as gun cases can take a wider shackle. Also note that TSA LOCKS are NOT authorized for gun cases (this is NOT a TSA lock). Only regular locks are, as only the passenger can have access to the firearms (per TSA regulations).

Nice little lock. Easy to use, works great, does the job. It's not going to keep out bank robbers and professional lock pickers, but pretty sure my kids will have a tough time getting the booze cabinet open without me knowing about it.

I purchased these locks for a project at work. They are well built and very easy to use. I would recommend this product for any light purpose application.

I was nervous about this lock because if you care to google it for 10 minutes, many sites will tell you how to break into this style of lock. It's really quite easy, but I wasn't able to apply the method, which involves pulling on the shackle and rotating the dials slowly starting from the bottom, to this lock, which makes me feel much better about it. The shackle is thin, but I'm using it for my gym locker at a small college, so I'm not too worried about security. Overall I'm very happy with this lock for the price. The one con I have run into after three weeks is that the dials tend to move easily. Often you have to re-enter the combo to lock the lock, because the dials moved while it was swinging around on the locker. This is a very minor complaint. Overall, I'm very happy with what I got for what I paid.
