Perfect for older iphonesFeb 12, 2011

I needed a screwdriver to take apart an iphone 3g. First, I went to the local box store and bought a Husky Precision Screwdriver Kit that claimed to have an "000" phillips head tip. However, that tip was way too big for the iphone's tiny screws, and I had to quit before I stripped a screw. After that, I ordered this screwdriver, which was perfect.
This screwdriver is also "000", but it is a LOT smaller than the Husky's 000 head, maybe half the size or less. It's made of good strong metal that holds its edge, and it took out and replaced the iphone's tiny screws with no trouble at all. It has a nice rotating base (the red part in the picture) that makes it easy to turn while holding perpendicular to your hand. I might prefer a magnetized screwdriver, but it's pretty easy to get a Magnetizer/Demagnetizer if I decide that's the way I want to go.
(Note that the newer iphones apparently have Torx screws, so this driver, while great, will only take apart the older models.)

Precise fit, durable tip.Oct 30, 2010
By Jim Thompson Not much to say, it fits the screws it is designed for with precision and the durable hardened tip ensures long life. I use this almost daily in camera lens repairs. It does feel a little lightweight in comparison to my Wittron screwdrivers, but not much in it.

Durable, Exactly what I needed for cheapAug 13, 2011

Had to open up my PSP to repair the broken screen, and this is exactly what I needed. You can use it for other stuff as well.
Its magnetic, so you dont have to worry about losing the really tiny screws that your using it for, as long as your careful.
Exceptionally hard to find Phillips type, but well worth the money.Nov 15, 2011
By Scotford I am going to be completely honest here, this product is the first Wiha tool I've ever bought and up until recently, never even heard of Wiha. Not only has this tool exceeded my expectations, this tool truly one of best screwdrivers I have ever bought and used. Sure, Klein Tools makes great screwdrivers, they don't make any screwdrivers smaller than Philips #1 and that is it.
I looked all over both hardware shops (Home Depot, Lowes, Ace Hardware etc) and while Husky does make this type of Phillips head, you have to buy a set and seriously, who want's to buy a set just for just one screw? Not I, that is for sure. Then I came across this screwdriver and been pleased since. Looking at the image, one might think it's just standardized thin metal that is likely to break if even the smallest pressure if applied, but that isn't the case in the very least with this screwdriver.
Although, while there is truth to the fact that the screwdriver is thin, it is anything but weak. Nearest to the handle of screwdriver the metal is actually slightly thicker and it's fairly noticeable that this is actually been hardened thoroughly. Also, there is also a finish on this screwdriver as well, but not just any finish. A Micron Vapor Hard Chromed finish that adds both a touch of elegance, but also has a rugged look as well. Honestly, that is a very nice addition and from a personal standpoint, I am very pleased that it's a chrome finish and not a standard glassy finish or stainless steel finish.
Don't get me wrong, I like the look of stainless steel, but I really like the look of chrome as well. Plus in this case, the finish really does make stand out from other screwdrivers in general.
Another excellent feature of this is the finger control cap. There are times when dealing with very sensitive screws that extremely precise work is needed and this tool just makes precision work even easier. Although this might not be applicable to some, this cap performs silently and doesn't make that rather annoying clicking sound other finger control caps do. This is very useful when doing work in a industrial setting or even in a business setting, where excess noise can impede productivity and unintended distractions.
In addition, this cap is very comfortable to use and does not place a vast amount of tension on fingers while being issue either. In addition, the color of the cap is red, so that makes finding this tool much easier when taking it out of a tool box/tool pouch.
But what really amazed me the most out (besides the fact this tool was made in Germany) is that is tool is how exactly precise the tip was. I have a Phillips head #0 and while it does a great job, it's slightly bigger than some of screws I deal with some times.
Recently, I used this screwdriver to take apart my Nintendo Wii and this tool worked perfectly and with true precision. With other screwdrivers, I constantly had to be extremely gentle not to strip out the heads, but with screwdriver, I can feel confident that this tool won't let me down. Now granted, I still use caution while using this tool, but at least this tool won't strip out any screws.
Even though this my first purchase from Wiha, I am certainly going to continue to purchase more tools in the future from them. Unlike other companies, Wiha actually makes very high quality products that actually ARE high quality and also make tools that aren't at all easy to find either. This is easily the best screwdriver I've used in ages and highly recommend this item.
Other Phillips #000 may let you down and may very well break without warning either, but if this properly, this tool likely will never do either.
